Logo & Thumbnail Research

Intro

Me and my teammate, Andrew, split our jobs here in Logo & Thumbnail, or Social Media. I was responsible for the thumbnail and logo, and Andrew did the social media part for our podcast. The social media part was to create a social media account, we chose Instagram because it is easier to create, advertise and we are used to the settings.

I did the logo and thumbnail research for the podcast because I am more into designing than doing the social media advertisement. Even though me and Andrew split our jobs, we still gave feedbacks to each other to help each of us stay on the right track

Logo

Here is my first design for the podcast logo.

Here is the background that we used. We figured that using a person surrounded by ghosts would be meaningful since the name of our podcast is 'Hear Me Out'. This shows that the subject in the middle is being judged by an anonymous objects which is surrounding her, making it look like everyone is judging the subject without knowing how she feels.

We changed things, and here is the logo that Andrew made. We decided to use this logo as our final logo of our podcast since it looked way more eye-catching.
